Overview

Duties

# Pipe Installation:

  • Install and fit pipes according to project specifications and blueprints.
  • Utilize cutting-edge techniques and equipment to ensure precise installation.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines.

# Pipe Assembly and Jointing:

  • Assemble and join pipes using various methods, including welding, soldering, and threading.
  • Ensure proper alignment and tightness of connections to prevent leaks.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to verify the integrity of joints and fittings.

# System Testing and Inspection:

  • Perform pressure tests and inspections to ensure system functionality and safety.
  • Identify and address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Document test results and communicate findings to the project team.

# Blueprint Reading and Layout:

  • Interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Plan and layout piping systems according to specifications and design requirements.
  • Coordinate with other trades to optimize system layout and installation.

# Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments on the job site.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability among team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter or similar role.
  • Proficiency in pipe installation, assembly, and jointing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and layout principles.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certifications or training (e.g., welding certifications, OSHA certification) preferred.
