Seam and Edge Finishing:

• Seam flooring materials together using heat welding, adhesive bonding, or seam tape to create seamless and watertight joints.
• Finish edges and transitions with trim pieces, molding, or sealants to provide a clean and professional appearance and ensure durability.

Quality Control and Testing:

• Inspect completed flooring installations for defects, imperfections, or inconsistencies, ensuring that flooring meets quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct water and leak tests to verify the integrity and waterproofing of flooring installations, making any necessary repairs or adjustments.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, and hazardous exposures during flooring installation activities.
• Ensure compliance with marine industry standards, regulations, and manufacturer guidelines for flooring materials and installation methods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a marine flooring installer or in a related field such as flooring installation, marine construction, or boatbuilding.
• Knowledge of marine flooring materials, adhesives, and installation techniques.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment for surface preparation, cutting, fitting, and installation of flooring materials.
• Ability to work effectively in marine environments and withstand exposure to water, weather, and marine conditions.
• Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and installing flooring materials.
• Physical stamina and agility to work on boats and vessels, climb ladders, and maneuver in confined spaces.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with boat owners, marine technicians, and project managers.
